What you can do
ExtensionFeedback hosts install/uninstall feedback pages on behalf of Chrome extension developers and stores submitted feedback so developers can read it. You may use the service to collect feedback for Chrome extensions you legitimately publish — your own, or those you have explicit authorization from the publisher to operate. You may register multiple extensions per account and rotate API keys at will.
Acceptable use
- Don't register an extension you don't own or aren't authorized to operate.
- Don't use the service for non-extension projects, fake survey traffic, or to collect data unrelated to install/uninstall events.
- Don't attempt to bypass rate limits, opt-out signals, or the freeform/email retention windows.
- Don't probe, scan, or attempt to compromise the platform or other tenants.
- Don't use submission data to identify, profile, or target individual users beyond what the user consented to (e.g. an opt-in email field).
- Don't republish raw submission data publicly. Aggregate stats are fine.
Your data
Submission rows associated with extensions on your account are your data; we are processors. We don't sell, share, or license it. Personal content (free-form text and email) is auto-NULLed at 90 days as described in the privacy policy — that's a baseline of the service, not a setting. You can request full export and full deletion of your account from /dashboard/account any time.
Pricing
ExtensionFeedback is currently in alpha and free to use. When billing launches we will give existing accounts at least 30 days' notice and a graceful path to either a free tier or a paid plan. We will not retroactively charge for usage that occurred during alpha.
Availability
The service is provided as is during alpha, without uptime guarantees. We do best-effort operations. The SDK fails open: if our servers are down, your extension users see Chrome's default uninstall behavior with no error — they don't see a broken page.
Termination
You can delete your account and all associated data any time from /dashboard/account — the action is immediate and irreversible. We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially violate Acceptable Use, abuse rate limits, or are reported by Chrome users for unauthorized data collection.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ExtensionFeedback is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. In no event shall we be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from or in connection with the use of the service, beyond the amount paid by you to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. The "last updated" date will move and we'll surface a notice in your dashboard the next time you log in. Continued use after a material change constitutes acceptance.
